- 1 head wirsing cabbage
- 500 grams ground meat
- 200 grams lasagne noodles
- 400 grams ricotta cheese
- 300 grams tomato sauce
- 2 onions
- 3 cloves garlic
- 100 grams grated cheese
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a skillet, heat olive oil and sauté chopped onions and garlic until translucent.
- Add ground meat to the skillet and cook until browned.
- Chop wirsing cabbage and boil briefly until tender.
- In a baking dish, layer ingredients: lasagne noodles, meat mixture, ricotta, and wirsing.
- Repeat layers, finishing with noodles and top with tomato sauce and grated cheese.
- Bake for 45 minutes until golden and bubbly.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- Feel free to add additional spices to your meat mixture for extra flavor.
- This dish can be prepared in advance and baked later.
