Deliciously cheesy and savory baked baguettes filled with seasoned ground meat, a perfect dish for a quick and satisfying meal.

  • 4 Baguettes
  • 500 g ground beef
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 200 g grated cheese (e.g., Gouda or Emmental)
  • 4 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon paprika powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (390°F).
  2. In a pan, cook the ground beef with the chopped onion and minced garlic until browned.
  3. Add ketchup, paprika powder, salt, and pepper, and mix well.
  4. Cut the baguettes lengthwise and scoop out some of the soft bread inside.
  5. Fill the baguettes with the meat mixture.
  6. Top with grated cheese.
  7. Place the filled baguettes on a baking sheet and bake for about 10-15 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Serve warm and enjoy!
