- 2 cups cooked turkey, shredded
- 1 cup diced carrots
- 1 cup diced celery
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp thyme
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 package pie crusts
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a skillet, sauté the onion, garlic, carrots, and celery until soft.
- Add the shredded turkey, salt, pepper, thyme, and flour, stirring to combine.
- Pour in the chicken broth and stir until thickened.
- Roll out pie crusts and cut into circles.
- Fill each circle with the turkey mixture, fold and seal edges.
- Place on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Can be frozen before baking for later use.
- For a golden crust, brush with egg wash before baking.
