This indulgent Tiramisu Torte is a masterpiece of flavors and textures, combining rich coffee-soaked layers with creamy mascarpone.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup strong brewed coffee, cooled
  • 2 tablespoons coffee liqueur
  • 4 large egg yolks
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 24 ladyfingers
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the brewed coffee and coffee liqueur.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together egg yolks and sugar until pale and creamy. Add mascarpone and mix until smooth.
  3. In another bowl, whip heavy cream until soft peaks form, then gently fold into the mascarpone mixture.
  4. Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the coffee mixture and layer them in a serving dish.
  5. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers, then repeat the layering.
  6. Finish with a dusting of cocoa powder on top.
  7. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours before serving.
