Delicious cookies inspired by tiramisu, combining chocolate and coffee flavors.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon coffee liqueur
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream the butter and sugar until fluffy. Add the egg, vanilla, and coffee liqueur.
  4. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  6. Drop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto a baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are set.
  8. Let cool before serving.

Notes

  • These cookies can be stored in an airtight container for up to a week.
  • For an enhanced coffee flavor, you can add a teaspoon of instant coffee granules to the dough.
