- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon coffee liqueur
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream the butter and sugar until fluffy. Add the egg, vanilla, and coffee liqueur.
- Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Drop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto a baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are set.
- Let cool before serving.
Notes
- These cookies can be stored in an airtight container for up to a week.
- For an enhanced coffee flavor, you can add a teaspoon of instant coffee granules to the dough.
