- 200g flour
- 100g butter
- 50g sugar
- 1 egg
- 500ml milk
- 100g sugar
- 1 vanilla pod
- 2 egg yolks
- 30g cornstarch
- 200g mixed berries
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Mix flour, butter, and sugar until crumbly, then add the egg to form a dough.
- Roll out the dough and place it into tartlet molds.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- In a saucepan, heat milk with vanilla pod and sugar.
- In a bowl, whisk egg yolks and cornstarch together.
- Gradually add the hot milk to the egg mixture, stirring constantly.
- Return the mixture to the saucepan and cook until thickened, then cool.
- Fill the cooled tartlet shells with vanilla cream.
- Top with mixed berries before serving.

- These tartelettes are best enjoyed fresh.
