- 500 g ground beef
- 200 g speck, diced
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 egg
- 100 g breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1 tbsp mustard
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a large bowl, mix the ground beef, diced speck, onion, garlic, egg, breadcrumbs, salt, pepper, thyme, and mustard until well combined.
- Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a baking dish.
- Bake for about 60 minutes, or until the meatloaf is cooked through and browned on the outside.
- Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
