Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 800 grams canned tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon fresh basil, chopped
  • 50 grams grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes, sauté until fragrant.
  3. Add canned tomatoes and salt, then bring to a simmer.
  4. Add spaghetti to the pan, stirring to coat.
  5. Cook the spaghetti in the sauce, occasionally stirring, for about 15 minutes or until the pasta is al dente.
  6. Add chopped basil and stir to combine.
  7. Serve topped with grated Parmesan cheese.
