- 500 g rhubarb
- 350 g flour
- 200 ml milk
- 100 g sugar
- 100 g butter
- 1 packet of yeast
- 2 eggs
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Wash and chop the rhubarb into small pieces.
- In a pot, heat the milk and butter until melted, then let it cool.
- In a bowl, mix the flour, sugar, yeast, salt, and vanilla.
- Add the milk mixture and eggs to the dry ingredients; knead until smooth.
- Let the dough rise for about 30 minutes.
- Roll out the dough, spread the rhubarb, and roll into a log.
- Cut into pieces and place on a baking tray.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool before serving.
Notes
- Perfect with a dusting of powdered sugar on top.
- Store in an airtight container to keep fresh.
