- 250 grams quark
- 100 grams sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla sugar
- 250 grams flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 pinch salt
- 500 milliliters vegetable oil (for frying)
- In a bowl, mix the quark, sugar, eggs, and vanilla sugar until well combined.
- In another bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a deep pan.
- Using a spoon, drop small portions of the dough into the hot oil and fry until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
- Remove and let drain on paper towels.
- Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
Notes
- Make sure the oil is hot enough before frying to prevent the donuts from absorbing too much oil.
- These can be served plain or with a dusting of powdered sugar for added sweetness.
