  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar (for dusting)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix molasses, sugar, and butter until smooth.
  2. Add cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, and pepper; stir to combine.
  3. Gradually mix in flour and baking soda until a dough forms.
  4. Chill dough for at least 2 hours.
  5. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  6. Roll dough into small balls and place on a baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes until set.
  8. Dust with powdered sugar while still warm.
