1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon ground cloves
1 teaspoon ground nutmeg

2 tablespoons powdered sugar (for dusting)
Instructions
In a large bowl, mix molasses, sugar, and butter until smooth.
Add cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, and pepper; stir to combine.
Gradually mix in flour and baking soda until a dough forms.
Chill dough for at least 2 hours.
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Roll dough into small balls and place on a baking sheet.
Bake for 10-12 minutes until set.
