Traditional German Easter rolls that are soft and fluffy.

- 500 grams all-purpose flour
- 250 ml milk
- 50 grams sugar
- 50 grams butter
- 1 egg
- 15 grams fresh yeast
- 1 teaspoon salt
- Warm the milk and dissolve the yeast in it.
- In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, and salt.
- Add the yeast mixture, melted butter, and egg to the flour.
- Knead until a smooth dough forms.
- Let rise for about 1 hour.
- Shape the dough into rolls and place on a baking tray.
- Let rise again for 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
Notes
- Serve warm with butter and jam.
- Can be stored in an airtight container for a few days.
