- 1 package yellow cake mix
- 1 cup orange soda
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 3 large eggs
- 1 box instant vanilla pudding mix
- 1 cup milk
- 1 container whipped topping
- 1 cup orange crush soda, to pour over
- 1/4 cup orange zest, for garnish
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine cake mix, orange soda, vegetable oil, and eggs; mix until smooth.
- Pour the batter into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Once baked, let the cake cool slightly, then poke holes all over the top using a fork.
- In another bowl, whisk together vanilla pudding mix and milk until thickened.
- Spread the pudding mixture over the cake, filling the holes.
- Pour the orange crush soda over the top, allowing it to soak in.
- Top with whipped topping and garnish with orange zest before serving.
