Nussbrot is a delicious nut bread that is perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 500 grams mixed nuts
  • 250 grams flour
  • 200 grams sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (356°F).
  2. Chop the mixed nuts.
  3. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, and baking powder.
  4. Add the chopped nuts, salt, and vanilla extract, then mix well.
  5. In another bowl, beat the eggs until fluffy.
  6. Add the egg mixture to the dry ingredients and combine.
  7. Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan.
  8. Bake for 50-60 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Let it cool before slicing.

Notes

  • This bread can be stored in an airtight container for up to a week.
  • For a sweeter taste, add more sugar.
