A hearty and flavorful goulash made with Leberkäse, perfect for serving with bread or dumplings.

Ingredients

  • 500 grams Leberkäse
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 bell pepper, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add the chopped onion and garlic, and sauté until translucent.
  3. Dice the Leberkäse and add it to the pot, cooking until browned.
  4. Stir in the paprika and cumin, cooking for another minute.
  5. Add the beef broth, diced tomatoes, and bell pepper. Bring to a boil.
  6. Lower the heat, cover, and let simmer for about 30 minutes.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste before serving.

Notes

  • Serve with crusty bread or traditional dumplings.
  • Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
