- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon instant yeast
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- ¾ cup warm water
- 1 cup feta cheese, crumbled
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, grated
- 1 egg (for topping)
- 1 tablespoon butter
- In a large bowl, mix flour, salt, sugar, and yeast together.
- Add warm water and olive oil to the mixture, knead until smooth.
- Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm area for about 1 hour.
- Preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C).
- Divide the dough into two pieces and shape them into boats on a baking sheet.
- In a bowl, mix feta and mozzarella cheese and fill the dough boats with the cheese mixture.
- Create a small indent in the center and crack an egg over the cheese.
- Dot with butter around the edge and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Serve hot, pulling off the bread edges to dip into the cheese.
