Delicious rolls filled with cheese and ham, coated in a crispy Parmesan crust.

Ingredients

  • 200 g sliced ham
  • 200 g cheese (e.g., Emmental)
  • 2 eggs
  • 100 g flour
  • 150 g breadcrumbs
  • 150 g grated Parmesan cheese
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste
  • oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Take a slice of ham and place a slice of cheese on top.
  2. Roll them up tightly and secure with a toothpick.
  3. Set up three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with breadcrumbs mixed with Parmesan.
  4. Dredge each roll in flour, dip in eggs, and then coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
  5. Heat oil in a pan and fry the rolls until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Remove and drain on paper towels before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add herbs to the breadcrumb mixture.
  • Serve with a dipping sauce of your choice.
