- 1 kg potatoes
- 500 g ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 200 ml cream
- 200 g cheese, shredded
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
- Peel and slice the potatoes.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil and sauté the onion and garlic until translucent.
- Add the ground beef and cook until browned.
- Layer half of the potatoes in a baking dish, followed by the beef mixture, then the remaining potatoes.
- Pour cream over the top and sprinkle with cheese.
- Bake for 45 minutes or until the potatoes are tender.
Notes
- Let the dish cool for a few minutes before serving.
- It can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
