A delicious and hearty casserole made with layers of potatoes and ground beef.

Ingredients

  • 1 kg potatoes
  • 500 g ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 200 ml cream
  • 200 g cheese, shredded
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. Peel and slice the potatoes.
  3. In a skillet, heat olive oil and sauté the onion and garlic until translucent.
  4. Add the ground beef and cook until browned.
  5. Layer half of the potatoes in a baking dish, followed by the beef mixture, then the remaining potatoes.
  6. Pour cream over the top and sprinkle with cheese.
  7. Bake for 45 minutes or until the potatoes are tender.

Notes

  • Let the dish cool for a few minutes before serving.
  • It can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
