- 250 grams all-purpose flour
- 125 grams unsalted butter
- 100 grams sugar
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 pinch salt
- 200 grams fruit jam (apricot or raspberry)
- powdered sugar for dusting
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Mix flour, butter, sugar, egg yolk, and salt in a bowl until a dough forms.
- Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- Roll out the dough on a floured surface and cut into circles.
- Place a teaspoon of fruit jam in the center of each circle and fold over to form a crescent shape.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Let them cool and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
Notes
- For a different flavor, try using chocolate or nut fillings instead of fruit jam.
- These pastries can be stored in an airtight container for up to a week.
