- 500 grams ground beef
- 250 grams ground pork
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 eggs
- 100 grams grated Parmesan cheese
- 3 cups tomato sauce
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, oregano, salt, pepper, eggs, and Parmesan cheese. Mix well.
- Form the mixture into balls and place them on a baking sheet.
- Drizzle olive oil over the meatballs and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- While the meatballs are baking, heat the tomato sauce in a saucepan.
- Once the meatballs are cooked, serve them hot with the tomato sauce.

- Serve with pasta or in a sub sandwich.
- Add fresh basil for garnish.
