- 1 cup sourdough starter
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix together the sourdough starter, flour, salt, and olive oil until a dough forms.
- Add in the mozzarella and parmesan cheeses, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning; mix until well combined.
- Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and roll it out to about 1/4 inch thick.
- Cut the dough into sticks and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden and crispy.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, brush the breadsticks with melted butter before baking.
- These can be enjoyed warm or at room temperature.
- Store any leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
