Deliciously rich chocolate cookies with a burst of fresh raspberries.

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup fresh raspberries

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips and raspberries.
  7. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto greased baking sheets.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are set. Let cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks.

Notes

  • For a stronger raspberry flavor, add more fresh raspberries.
  • Store cookies in an airtight container for up to one week.
