A delicious twist on a classic cheeseburger, perfect for gatherings and parties.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 6 slices cheddar cheese
  • 1 package refrigerated pie crusts
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1 cup mustard
  • 1 cup pickles, sliced
  • 1 large tomato, sliced
  • 1 head lettuce, shredded

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef, onion, and garlic over medium heat until the meat is browned.
  3. Drain any grease and season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  4. Roll out one pie crust and place it in a 9-inch pie dish.
  5. Layer half the beef mixture, then top with 3 slices of cheddar cheese.
  6. Repeat the layers with the remaining beef and cheese.
  7. Cover with the second pie crust, crimp the edges to seal.
  8. Cut slits in the top crust for ventilation.
  9. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
  10. Allow to cool for a few minutes before slicing.
  11. Serve with ketchup, mustard, pickles, tomato, and lettuce.

Notes

  • This dish can be prepared a day ahead and baked before serving.
  • Feel free to customize toppings as desired!
