A delicious fusion dish combining Japanese okonomiyaki flavors with bratnudeln.

Ingredients

  • 200 grams noodle (preferably bratenudeln)
  • 100 grams cabbage, shredded
  • 50 grams green onions, chopped
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 tablespoons okonomiyaki sauce
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • to taste salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Cook the bratnudeln according to package instructions and set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the cooked noodles, shredded cabbage, green onions, eggs, okonomiyaki sauce, soy sauce, salt, and pepper.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat.
  4. Add the noodle mixture to the pan and flatten it into a pancake shape.
  5. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Serve hot, drizzled with extra okonomiyaki sauce if desired.

Notes

  • This dish is great for using up leftover vegetables.
  • Feel free to add proteins like shrimp or chicken.
