- 250 grams ricotta cheese
- 200 grams phyllo dough
- 1 egg
- 50 grams grated parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
- In a bowl, mix ricotta, egg, parmesan, salt, pepper, and oregano.
- Take a sheet of phyllo dough, brush it with olive oil, and add another layer.
- Place a spoonful of the filling on one end of the dough and roll it into a cylinder.
- Seal the ends and place on a baking sheet.
- Repeat with the remaining dough and filling.
- Brush the top of the börek with olive oil and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
Notes
- For a crispy texture, make sure to use enough olive oil on the phyllo sheets.
- Serve warm with a side of yogurt for dipping.
