A delicious nut brittle that can be used as a topping or snack.

Ingredients

  • 200 g sugar
  • 100 g butter
  • 200 g hazelnuts, chopped

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, melt the butter and sugar together over low heat until dissolved.
  2. Add the chopped hazelnuts and stir well.
  3. Pour the mixture onto a parchment-lined baking sheet and spread evenly.
  4. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 15 minutes or until golden brown.
  5. Let it cool completely before breaking into pieces.

Notes

  • This can also be made with almonds or other nuts for a variation.
  • Store in an airtight container to keep it crunchy.
