- 500 grams ripe pears
- 150 grams brown sugar
- 200 grams flour
- 100 grams butter
- 2 eggs
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon ginger
- 1 packet baking powder
- 1 pinch salt
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Peel and slice the pears, then mix with brown sugar and spices.
- In a bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream the butter and sugar, then add eggs.
- Gradually mix in the dry ingredients until combined.
- Roll out the dough, place pear mixture on it, and roll into a strudel.
- Place on a baking tray and bake for 30-40 minutes.
