- 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 4 ripe bananas, sliced
- 1 cup chopped nuts (e.g. walnuts or pecans)
- 1 cup chocolate syrup
- 1 cup whipped cream for topping
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter.
- Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9×13 inch pan to form the crust.
- In another bowl, whip heavy cream with sugar and vanilla until stiff peaks form.
- Spread half of the whipped cream mixture over the crust.
- Layer sliced bananas and nuts on top.
- Drizzle chocolate syrup over the bananas.
- Spread the remaining whipped cream on top of the torte.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, you can add a layer of peanut butter before the bananas.
- Top with additional chocolate syrup and nuts before serving for garnish.
