A delicious and delightful dessert inspired by the classic banana split.

Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 cups whipped cream
  • 1/2 cup chocolate syrup
  • 1/2 cup crushed nuts
  • 8 slices cake (pound or sponge)

Instructions

  1. Slice the bananas and set aside.
  2. Whip the heavy cream with sugar until soft peaks form.
  3. Layer the cake slices in a rectangular dish.
  4. Add a layer of sliced bananas on top of the cake.
  5. Spread whipped cream over the bananas.
  6. Drizzle chocolate syrup over the whipped cream.
  7. Sprinkle crushed nuts on top.
  8. Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with whipped cream and nuts on top.
  9. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.

Notes

  • You can add additional toppings like maraschino cherries or sprinkles as desired.
  • Make sure to use ripe bananas for the best flavor.
