Delicious and cheesy bacon jalapeño popper cheese balls that are perfect for a party appetizer or snack.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup cooked bacon, chopped
  • 1/4 cup jalapeños, diced
  • 1 green onion, sliced
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine cream cheese, cheddar cheese, bacon, jalapeños, green onion, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Roll the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
  4. Dip each cheese ball in beaten eggs, then roll in breadcrumbs to coat.
  5. Place the cheese balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • For extra heat, use spicy jalapeños.
  • These cheese balls can be made ahead of time and frozen before baking.
