Delicious Asian-style meatballs served with a flavorful Hoisin sauce.

- 500 g ground beef
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp Hoisin sauce
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ginger, grated
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
- salt and pepper to taste
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
- In a bowl, combine the ground beef, egg, soy sauce, Hoisin sauce, onion, garlic, ginger, breadcrumbs, sesame oil, salt, and pepper.
- Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into small meatballs and place them on a baking sheet.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until cooked through.
- Serve hot with additional Hoisin sauce for drizzling.
Notes
- These meatballs can be served as an appetizer or main dish.
- For extra flavor, add chopped green onions to the mixture.
