A delicious and hearty pasta dish featuring savoy cabbage, perfect for a comforting meal.

Ingredients

  • 200 grams pasta
  • 1 head wirsing (savoy cabbage)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon chili flakes
  • 100 ml vegetable broth
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Parmesan for serving

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions.
  2. In a large pan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and cook until translucent.
  3. Add minced garlic and chili flakes, and cook for an additional minute.
  4. Stir in the wirsing and cook until wilted.
  5. Add vegetable broth and simmer for 5 minutes.
  6. Toss the cooked pasta into the pan and mix thoroughly. Season with salt and black pepper.
  7. Serve hot, topped with grated Parmesan.

Notes

  • This dish can be made vegetarian by omitting the Parmesan or using a plant-based alternative.
  • Feel free to add other vegetables according to your preference.
