A rich and decadent Lebkuchen-Schoko Mousse Torte featuring layers of spiced gingerbread and chocolate mousse.

Ingredients

  • 200g Lebkuchen cookies
  • 400ml heavy cream
  • 200g dark chocolate
  • 3 eggs
  • 100g sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp ginger

Instructions

  1. Crush the Lebkuchen cookies and mix with melted butter to form the base.
  2. Prepare the chocolate mousse by melting dark chocolate and folding in whipped cream and beaten eggs.
  3. Add sugar, vanilla, and spices to the mousse mixture.
  4. Layer the mousse over the cookie base and refrigerate until set.
  5. Serve chilled, optionally garnished with whipped cream and chocolate shavings.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, use high-quality dark chocolate.
